The Baron
Hi, Just got 10.4.7 (JaS) up and running perfectly - cheers for the X1800 patch Jas! Just one thing I need help with. I'm running 1024x768, on boot the grey scren is fine, but the OSX one and the login screen are both 'squashed' horizontally. Then I log on and it's ok again. This isn't a big problem, I'd just like the boot up to be perfect! Tried editing com.apple.Boot.plist with a Graphics Mode key, but no luck. Anyone solved this? Cheers for any help, Andy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26014-boot-resolution/ Share on other sites
horst.schlemmer
I've read something in the forum, that there's a tool with that you can restrict the system resolutions. And if you restrict the resolution to one, you should get a highres login screen.. But sorry, i forgot the name of the tool and btw...that's imo so unimportant Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26014-boot-resolution/#findComment-176076 Share on other sites
The Baron
Cheers for that, I'll have a search around - I modified the boot.plist again, this time added @85 at the end - bad idea! - totally knackered my system, so I'm back on a clean install. I agree, it's unimportant, but it's a tribute to the JaS DVD that this is the only thing I'm worrying about!
