amrazi
Hi everybody! I recently installed Snow Leopard on my Acer Timeline 5810TZ laptop. Everything was working well (with the help of TonyMacx86's #####), including the built-in PS/2 keyboard and trackpad, and the USB mouse attached. I installed Snow Leopard via the myHack installer and was using its bootloader (installed on the partition of my hard drive where I had restored the installation .dmg for snow leopard) to boot into snow leopard. Then I decided to switch to the TonyMacx86 bootloader on my Snow Leopard (the myHack bootloader seemed to override it everytime I booted into Snow Leopard), so I deleted the partition for the myHack installer and booted off of the Snow Leopard partition. Everything seemed fine untill I reached to desktop. The computer was running fine, windows were popping up, etc., but I couldn't move my mouse, or type. I used HFSexplorer to loot at my kexts, and the Voodoo PS/2 kext was there. So what's wrong. And if I need to replace. install a kext, how can I do it without booting into snow leopard, since I cannot type or move my mouse? (I could use a Ubuntu live disc, with root privileges, but then how could I repair permissions. etc.) THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
