Atazanga
I have read that this can come from the audio kext ; I have an Realtek audio card + audio capabilities on the Nvidia 310 card and maybe this is the root cause ; I am doing a fresh install this morning and I will keep you posted Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/259766-1067-installation-problem/#findComment-1701064 Share on other sites

Atazanga
Hello, I never get finished the combo update 10.6.7 without a KP ; finally, I have used a time machine restore from my desktop to install it and I have re-installed the kext that I need. I have always an issue with the sound ; apparently the stereo speakers and mic are managed by Realtek ALC269 and the HDMI sound is managed by the Nvidia graphic card. Keep working Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/259766-1067-installation-problem/#findComment-1704332 Share on other sites
