tehphoenixsplx Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Ok seeing as I got no support and no end of trying to get the x1800 working I gave up and bought a 5770. Couple of things. I have resolution changes but non of them are accepted. Says out of range on even the lower ones. I thought I had QE/QI and its smooth enough when I do animations but the OS looks soft and I dont get that ripple effect on dropped widgets. According to Wikipedia this card works out of the box so any help would be super fantastic! tehphoenixsplx Posted June 18, 2011 Author Share Posted June 18, 2011 actually after I detected the display the resolutions work now. Seems quick enough but QI/QE isn't quite there. Im so close to having this fully working.. Any enablers do I need? Anything in the boot.plist? I have GraphicsEnabler but it hasn't made a diff. The screen gets all choppy and displays weird artifacts after the boot up text. I've tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes with no success. QE/CI would be amazing, any help please?
