realneurotiq@hotmail.com
Hello everyone . I have a fully functional hackintosh with 2 exceptions. It will not get passed the loading screen unless booted from Hazard's bootloader, and Windows 7 will not launch with ACPI active. I want to know if there is a way to launch without ACPI active on my bios. If the case is that I must install windows after enabling ACPI, then are there any security risks associated with it? Most important questions are these: 1. How do I boot without the CD's chameleon bootloader (because RC5 crashes by itself). 2. How can I launch OSX without having ACPI enabled? Is this what the Sata ACPI fix refers to? I am so close, I just need make it stop requiring the bootloader from the dvd and figure out if/how to get around ACPI. 3.14r2
1. Install a Chameleon boot loader with associated files (/Extra/Extensions and other). 2. Don't know.
