Hello guys! I'm trying to install Show Leopard to my Toshiba P200D-11L laptop ... It's AMD machine, so I guess I'm going to have more problems that with Intel laptop. But anyway, I want to try it. So I've downloaded Snow Leo distributions (iAtkos and Hazard), booth are v10.6.6. The problem is that I can't even start the installation ... I just get "still waiting for root device".

I've been googling that and I think that the problem is with my motherboard (Snow Leo doesn't have drivers for SATA ??) ? Is that true ? What can I to to try to fix it ? Please tell me where to go from here ... Maybe there some drivers for toshiba laptops that I should try ? Or another distro ??

And yeah, before 1-2 years, I've successfully installed MAC OS X Leopard ... I don't know what version ... So there's hope. I need Snow Leopard version because I'm installing it mainly to run Xcode.

Can I install Leopard and from it upgrade or install Snow Leopard ? Will it work then ?

Thanks ;)
