dekkytsh
Hey guys, first time poster long time lurker. I decided to sign up and ask you lot a question as I cannot directly find the correct answer, so wondering if someone could help me here. Basically, I have Hazard's Snow Leopard AMD iso and I want to install it on my AMD computer. Problem is I do not have a CD/DVD drive or access to a mac. I have an 8gb flash drive which I am hoping I can use to do this. My computer allows me to boot from USB but I can't find a guide on how to make the .iso bootable on this flash drive. Here are my system specs/setup... AMD Phenom X4 840 3.20 GHz 4gb DDR3 Ram Nvidia 8600 GTS XXX 250gb SATA 64-bit Windows 7 PS/2 Keyboard USB Mouse I have a fairly new motherboard so I am pretty sure my pc can handle it... where do I start? I spent about 15+ hours sat reading tutorials on how to do it and couldn't find any understandable bootable USB tutorials. I have attempted to use UltraISO but when I boot from the USB it says something about being created by UltraISO then goes on a black screen for hours (I left it over night just incase it worked). Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! Mac Boy
You can use Ubuntu (along with hfsprogs) to convert the ISO to a bootable USB via the command line. I did it once and it worked.
