So far I've only managed to get either a reboot loop after i insert cpu=1 -s -f -x busratio=20 mach_kernel.toh macgh_kernel p.patch -s or an EBIOS READ ERROR. Tried other dvd drive with no success. SATA configuration is set to AHCI, coolnquiet disabled and the pin is set to master on the DVD drive. Also searched around for solutions but I don't really know if I should try another distro or get a SATA DVDRW.

And no access to a MAC system so that i could use a thumb pen drive.

 

Any input would be greatly appreciated. =]]]

 

UPDATE:

 

Now i get to the grey apple screen and a forbidden sign appears next to the apple or, depending on the flags, a voodoo kernel panic or cpu show up.

ive heard about setbeltkexts but i dont know how deal with them even after i read this gui
