Stuck at Loading Darwin/x86

i have iAtkos v7 10.5.7 and iPC 10.5.6. I tried booting each one and they both give me the same problem. Once it starts booting up, it gets stuck at Loading Darwin/x86. It doesn't freeze though, the little spinning cursor thing just keeps on spinning very slowly.

 

Even when i boot with -v, it just brings up a couple more lines of kernals and then that spinning cursor keeps on spinning very slowly.

 

any help is great

 

Edit: I let it sit there and it just shut off my laptop.

atleast it's getting somewhere haha
