Kal-El88
Hi! i have installed on my laptop(dv6 3150el) hazard's snow leopard 10.6.2 and it works fine but when i try to combo update to 10.6.7, 10.6.6 or 10.6.4 i get a kernel panic near the end of the installation process. rebooting with -v-x i have no kernel panic but it stucks on: disk0s5..... before updating i removed sleepenabler.kext, i've checked in my s/L/E and i've nullcpupowermanagement.kext...so i really don't know the reason of the KP. kernel panic is something like: panic(cpu 0 caller 0x585c1a28): "AppleSMCPDRC::start - unrecognized device type\n"@/SourceCache/IOPlatformPluginFamily/IOPlatformFluginFamily-340.2.20/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin/AppleSMCPDRC.cpp:68 Debugger called: <panic> If i try with Hazard 10.6.6i intel only, i install it properly but at the first boot it freezes again even if use -x arch=i386...etc obviously i use cpus=1 busratio=20 always. Your help will be appreciated. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/256106-problemkernel-panic-while-updating-to-1064-or-more/ Share on other sites
