kmnielsen
Hi finaly i got it to work SN 10.6.7 and ALL by myself !!! To all neewbees out there !!! Here is the way to install the iATKOS3 V2 the right way !!! FIRST FORGET ABOUT ##### !!! If your able to boot from the DVD to the install screen, here is what to install !!! If you have REALTEK network chip install the drivers for it ! If you have Artrhos network chip install the drivers for that ! If your using a ATX with PS2 mouse keyboard install patch for PS2 support The same goes for USB ! If you have a nVIDIA grafic card that are supported make grafic-enable if not you might have to boot with the -x -v after install !!! That should be it... IF YOU GET... a your computer have to be restarted after installing 10.6.3 iATKOS don worry !!! You might have to start it more time until the disabler have sorted out the problems and lets you in the OSX !!! NOW COMES THE IMPORTEND PART !!! AFTER A SUCCESFULL INSTALL OF IATKOS3 V2 DO NOTTTTTTTTT INSTALL THE COMBO 10.6.7 AND RUN ##### !!! Let the OSX start and see if you have network !!! I had !!!!!!!! But when i installed the ##### and combo Update to 10.6.7 i lost it and got SOOOOOO many err. !!! Shut down your system and then boot and see if it boots oki !!! Now install the 10.6.4 combo update, that should work just fine no kernel change at this point ! Next let it restart and see it boots oki !!! Now you gonna go to the /system/lib.../extension and finde the OIUSBxxxx.kext there will be 2 conserning the IOUSB !!! Copy them to the desktop !!! Make sure you got #####, Legacy Kernel 10.6, downloaded and on your system !!! To be on the safe side if you lose other kext make a backup of your /system/lib.../extension folder !!! Now run the combo update 10.6.5... DON NOT RESTART !!! Install the 2 kext on your desktop with #####, and install the Leagecy Kernel 10.6 !!! NO YOU CAN RESTART !!! The SAME prosider you will have to do with the comboupdate 10.6.6 and 10.6.7 !!! You might get some "RESTART" in boot but again this is until the "disabler" is done turning "bad things" OFF !!! This way i got my Hackintosh running, and it runs like a dream !!! 30 sec boottime 4 sec shutdown time... AND YES i have installed some rather heavy stuf on it !!! All howto is your own risk.... but this is the way i got it working !!! ASUS P5P41T LE ( Arthos network ) CPU INTEL DUO CORE 2.7 GHz ASUS N8400 GS / 512 Mb KINGSTON 2 x 4 Gb WD 2 Tb SATA 300 HDD OPTICA DVD / RW.........
