peach-os
I had the same issue installing OS X on a friends 6930 - stopped at the same line in our case it happened after installing the modded IOPCIFamily.kext to make wireless and the onboard atheros card work. problem is that you won´t be able to get ethernet or wireless working on this machine without this modded kext. imho because of a bad pci implementation in bios even an Atheros AR5001, which is usually recognized as an Airport, won´t load the needed kext to make it work - although lspci showed the correct ID´s that should load it. On my other Acer 6292 this Atheros wireless is recognized as an Airport. conclusion: 1. If you want to use OS X on it, you won´t have any wireless workin (except usb) and no LAN 2. I wouldn´t spend my time on that machine installing OS X = useless the second is what I did Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255120-problem-in-start-hackintosh-acer-6930g/#findComment-1672646 Share on other sites
litosudo
Try the USB fix from the bootloader, in boot.plist Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255120-problem-in-start-hackintosh-acer-6930g/#findComment-1708109 Share on other sites
