Hi guys, i just got my snow leopard installed throught he use of nawcom bootcd. Everything is working fine, but when i tried to run vmware fusion it gives me a kernel panic.

part of the error listed below

Panic(cpu 0 caller 0x2aea99) kernel trap

debugger called:<panic> boot trace (cpu0) return address (4potential args on stack)

Ok, I have reinstalled SL, now its on 10.6 and vmware fusion is currently installing Windows on it.

It is probably the 10.6.7 Combo Update.

I ran MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.7, legacy_kernel-10.7.0 and QE_CI_Exotic patch for 10.6.7 on my previous installation. What could have been the problem??

System Info

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.87

Asus P5b

3GB DDR2 SD RAM

Palit ATI Radeon 4850

Pata DVD

Sata HDD

Vmware fusion does not like "legacy_kernel" the name not the kernel. Renaming it to mach_kernel may help.

BTW you can run a vanilla kernel on that processor with a patched 'boot" file. See under the green edit in my guide.
