rennyong
Ok, I have reinstalled SL, now its on 10.6 and vmware fusion is currently installing Windows on it. It is probably the 10.6.7 Combo Update. I ran MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.7, legacy_kernel-10.7.0 and QE_CI_Exotic patch for 10.6.7 on my previous installation. What could have been the problem?? Larx
I've just installed VM Fusion ... Works perfect here with 10.6.7. So i think is't not problem with combo 10.6.7 ! Dellmantt
Vmware fusion does not like "legacy_kernel" the name not the kernel. Renaming it to mach_kernel may help. BTW you can run a vanilla kernel on that processor with a patched 'boot" file. See under the green edit in my guide.
