GozyllaR Posted April 7, 2011 Share Posted April 7, 2011 Hello, first of all my System: CPU: Intel i5 750 MB: ASUS P7P55D EVO Graphic: ASUS EAH5770 4GB RAM I've almost finished my installation. But I have one big problem. If I want to boot Mac from the disk, the process stops always with this line Device in Slot: SLOT--1 I've installed the ComboUpdate 10.6.7 und used [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] without the graphicskext. Mac 10.6.7 supports my graphiccard natively. I've also tried it with the graphicskext integrated in [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]. But then I have a bad graphicperfomance. I can't watch videos on YouTube then. At least I can boot without any problems. I hope you can help me. sorry for my bad english. I'm german. buoo Posted April 7, 2011 Share Posted April 7, 2011 It's a classic graphic problem, try to boot with -x or -x GraphicsEnabler=No. For your graphic card you need a right RC5's branches. Still get: Device in Slot: SLOT--1 but this time the last line was: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::watForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out I don't know if this helps.
