QE/CI only working when external moniter is attached

I have an Asus N71JQ which has a 1600x900 display and an ATI Mobility 5730. I've tried everything (EDID, vbios, etc) to get my display working. It works to a certain extent.

 

If I boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes

 

Black screen on internal display, but full res and QE/CI on external display

 

 

If I boot with GraphicsEnabler=No

 

Internal display works, but no QE/CI and 1024x768 res

 

 

If I boot with PCIRootUID=1, GraphicsEnabler=Yes

 

Internal display works, but no QE/CI and 1024x768 res

 

I am using the boot file checcco compiled for the 5730, and I've tried the framebuffers Vervet, Hoolock, Nomascus, Eulemur, but all of them give me the same result.
