After installing a vanilla 10.6.2 (or .3) the board works out of the box but after applying the 10.6.6 patch, during the boot up I get the "You must restart..." apple grey window. Taking out the board makes the OS boot up again as the last line during the verbose log mentioned the driver. What to do? I'm a long time lurker but still a n00b. deybdeybdeyb Posted March 28, 2011 Share Posted March 28, 2011 Happened to me earlier. I updated from 10.6.4 to 10.6.7. I assume you also removed the AppleHPET.kext, if yes, then just restore your 10.6.3 IO80211Family.kext to S/L/E (assuming you backup your Extensions folder before updating as well). good luck!
