Drawllimuk
Hey Guys. I recently did an install on an Asus P5KPL-AM mobo using nawcom Mod CD 0.3.1 install disc, and retail Snow Leopard. Everything went like a dream. The only problem I do seem to have is the onboard NIC keeps giving me a private address. I visited the Realtek website and downloaded the latest Mac os drivers for the NIC but I still seem to have the private address. Now I have had a quick look around and found a few files, but they all seem to keep doing the same thing. I notice on the HCL 10.6.5 page (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.6.5#Asus) the guy who did the install used a USB to ethernet adapter. Does anyone know if this is the only way to do it? Everything else seems fine (although I haven't tried the sound yet) Many thanks from a very grateful newbie....
