Hi guys! I had a "good enough" installation on Snow Leopard 10.6.6 (on a laptop HP Pavilion 1222sl) but the main thing that stops me from using it as primary os is the heat.

While i'm in Windows/Linux i have about 35°C on each core. When i'm on OSX i have 45°C.

Speedstep is working fine so i don't think that's the problem.

I noticed my cpu fan doesn't go up even when cpu is 100% under load so i'm assuming there's something wrong with it. I tried smcFanControl but the speed of the fan is not recognized (it says 0000 rpm)

Is there a patch or something to fix this? Maybe a DSDT fix?

Is there a free program to downvolt my cpu like i do in Windows with CrystalCPUID and in Linux with phc kernel (i'm using CoolBook but in its trial version i'm not allowed to downvolt)?

My dsdt down here
