Hello all,

Currently I have my mouse connected to USB and my keyboard on PS/2. The strange thing is that this 'sometimes' works, when I reboot the keyboard never works, when I shutdown twice (shutdown->boot->shutdown) the keyboard usually works!

I already tried many different combinations with USB Bios settings, USB mouse->PS/2 mouse (mouse works always, with any combination) etc...

However, when I check the System Profiler->Extensions I see that the

ApplePS2Controller

Dependencies: Satisfied

Integrity: Kext has no receipt

ApplePS2Keyboard

Dependencies: Incomplete

Dependency errors:

com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Controller: No valid version of this dependency can be found

com.apple.iokit.IOHIDSystem: No valid version of this dependency can be found

Integrity: Kext has no receipt

When I manually try to kextunload/load the ApplePS2Keyboard the system reports twice success.

OSX Version : 10.4.7 (10.4.6 JaS updated with JaS 10.4.7 update)

Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.0Ghz

Keyboard: Logitech PS/2

Am I missing some Java classes?

How can I boot in verbose/safe mode to get more error information? (I can't find any errors in any log files or through Console)

I already read most posts concerning Keyboard problems but all the included kext are for minor versions and don't work, I have the original kext loaded at the moment.

Many thanks in advance!

This community is really two thumbs up, for all the people out there who are really doing a huge effort, your work is highly appreciated!!!!
