some mac Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Installer is stuck at "run postinstall script for BSD Subsystem" in the Installer log. Installing BSD SubSystem. Anyone have the same problem? Any solutions? some mac Posted August 19, 2006 Author Share Posted August 19, 2006 Ok. I got it working. mac.os.x.install.dvd.dmg image has to be restored to a hard disk partition. Putting it on a DVD won't work for some reason. Weird. Tynsoe Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 Personally, I did launch the installer from my hard drive, the OSInstall.mpkg, and I did have the same problem.
