[Solved] Webcam (A4tech PK-720MJ) stopped working after 10.6.6 update

Hi

Edit: for a partial solution (web cam but no mic) check out this topic.

Edit 2: I just removed the AnyISight (see the first edit) and rebooted the system with flag -f and now my webcam is totally working with mic and everything, I don't have the slightest idea what happened, but it's working. I did try -f several times before!! :)

I used my usb webcam (A4Tech PK-720MJ) which does have a microphone also without any problems under Snow Leopard 10.6.1, 10.6.2 (Hazard distro) and 10.6.3 (iAtkos s3 v2). Both webcam and it's USB audio input (mic) were working perfectly without need to install any kind of driver.

I recently updated iAtkos s3 v2 (10.6.3) to 10.6.6. At first all my USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external hard drive, etc) stopped working, after following some guides and blog posts (like this one: http://blog.nawcom.com/?p=347) I installed the IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBStorage.kext or whatever its exact name is. Anyway, now, all the USB devices are working again, but the webcam is not detected. Its mic also doesn't show up my input audio sources.

I'm running iAtkos s3 v2 10.6.3 combo updated to 10.6.6 on a 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo (not 2 Duo) installed on a Gigabyte GA-P31-S3G

Hints, tips and help are appreciated.

Cheers

UPDATE:

I could successfully get my web cam back to work using this post and this post.

I can use it in photo booth and ichat.

But my web cam's mic is not still showing up in the audio input list. And I need it, becuase my motherboard's mic is not working with the currently installed driver. I tried different drivers, but never could get mic to work, different story.

Anyway, ideas will be appreciated.

Cheers
