beg Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 this is the question: i have a partition with mac osx installed and another one with win xp, i installed mac by using vmware and my phisical disk because if i run the installer from the boot it hangs at "using 1310 buffer headers and 1310 cluster IO buffer headers" so i tried to install with vmware and everything worked but now i want to boot my mac partition and it hangs at the gray screen with the apple. if i use -v option then it shows again "using 1310 buffer headers and 1310 cluster IO buffer headers" and it hangs there i don't have any idea of how to fix it or if it's impossible to fix. beg Posted August 23, 2006 Author Share Posted August 23, 2006 i can install it on vmware using phisical hard disk but when the installation is booting instead of 1310 it shows 736 or something similar... is it a problem of the hard disk? why it works in vmware? i tried to install using vmware and then dual boot natively but it told me again "using 1310 buffer..." and hangs. anybody knows anything?
