iradar
HI, when I connect USB peripherals (mostly memory stick) I get kernel panics with "you need to restart your computer" message. this only happens when I connect USB stick while comp is running. USB works fine if it was connected before startup. I have a complete unaltered installation of 10.6.6. everything working, very stable system. I boot using "#####" CD, then switch to OS X on HDD. mutibeast doesn't work for me, unable to startup after installation (tried many times), plus it messed up my dual boot with win 7. I suspect USB power issue. macs have higher powered USB to charge iPads more effectively. I suspect the OS freaks out when upon connection cannot provide expected power to the device. anyone else having this problem? thanks Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/249168-usb-makes-hackintosh-crush/ Share on other sites
