Jbbrack03
I am trying to install Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my HP DV6000 (exact model: DV6327cl). I am trying to install the OS using iatkos S3 V2. Here are the specs for the computer: CPU: AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology TL-50 / 1.6 GHz RAM: 1 GB DDR2 5300 Chipset: Nforce Video: Nvidia Geforce 6150 Go HD: 120 GB Serial ATA When I boot from the iatkos DVD, I have to boot with the -v -x flags or the USB ports will not work. When I boot using those flags, I do have USB connectivity so I'm able to attach a USB Mouse and Keyboard. I am able to complete the installation successfully, but I still don't have sound/Keyboard/Trackpad/Ethernet working. There may be other things (like the webcam, card reader), but I'm not worried about those yet. I've read some installation guides for similar models, but they were all for Leopard and not Snow Leopard. Can anyone give me some advice on what settings to use and what kext's I might be able to use to get the Keyboard/Trackpad working? I believe that they use a PS2 interface so I'm likely looking for PS2 Kexts. Also, if there are any bootflags that I need to try, I would appreciate the info. If I need to install with something other than iatkos, I would also be interested in that information. Thanks!
