centic
Is it possible to format an external hard drive with the GUID partition table structure? I've tried 2 different enclosures and 5 different hard drives however Disk Utility in both OS X and the OS X Install disc (all legal, not x86 {censored}, on my iMac) refuse to format it, it just hangs, or only creates 1 of 4 partitons or whatever.. elektricity
I have set up a few external drives with no isuues via firewire and USB. Occasionaly I get the wrong amount of partitions, but retrying normally sorts it out Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24828-guid-partition-format/#findComment-168751 Share on other sites
