After managing to install MacOSX86 on my Lenovo Thinkpad T410 (Core i5 m 560 quad) 4gb RAM, I've never managed to successfully get it to load up into the first boot, where it would ask me for User information, set time zone etc.

I've used numerous flags during the install and boo -such as cpus=1,busratio=20, -v, -x, - but have never had any luck.

Could anyone help or tell me what they did to successfully run OSX86 on their machine which has similar specs to mine?

Thanks ;)

Irony is that I installed the Retail SL using the EasyKit bootcd which installed flawlessly. Can I just update the retail SL via System Update or should I use a hackintosh update?

Glad to know you managed to installed SL. :thumbsup_anim:

I used ##### to install and updated successfully with System Update. I've read about other users updating successfully too. However, please google to see if EasyKit method has any issues.

Good luck!
