Tha King
quite surprised how smoothly this thing installed on my pc. Question is tho, after the restart it will just stay on the apple logo...LOADING...it has been like this for about 5 minutes or so...does it take THIS long to boot? I highly doubt it...but just posting here for some possible solutions. I believe I have 10.4.3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24715-question-regarding-os-x-86-installation/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
When you did the install, right before clicking the "Install" button, did you first click the "Customize" button and choose packages for your computer? You need to click the little arrow to reveal the individual packages. Choose only AMD or Intel packages, not both. Choose only SSE2 or SSE3, not both, depending upon what your processor is capable of. Tha King
i might have skipped over the amd or intel packages part...did not think it will make a difference either way. I choose SSE3 only tho. I'm loading the install DVD now. hmmm i dont seem to have that option you pose, where it says to expand group...i get these options Additional Extensions (install) SSE2 (skipped) SSE3 (install) is there something i am overlooking? Rammjet
In front of the Additional Extensions, is there a little arrow? Click it.
