autolycus
I even tried holding shift to get to safe mode...all it does is reads the hard drive like mad for a while then just stops and all i have is the Apple Logo with the spinning progress indicator. Any ideas? Log files I can look at? This was installed from 10.4.6.install.dvd.iso that came from BitTorrent. Rammjet
When you did the install, right before clicking the "Install" button, did you first click the "Customize" button and choose packages for your computer? You need to click the little arrow to reveal the individual packages. Choose only AMD or Intel packages, not both. Choose only SSE2 or SSE3, not both, depending upon what your processor is capable of.
