Serious Help required!

Hi, I'm trying to install OS X on my Dell Inspiron 1520, i know it can be done as they've said on the OS86X project wiki that it can:

I've tried installing from various versions of os X and different bootloaders and patched dvd images but i always get stuck with this screen:

My system configuration is as follows:

 

Platform: Intel Centrino

Chipset: Intel GM965

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile T7500 @ 2200MHz

Physical Memory: 2048MB (2 x 1024 DDR2 - SDRAM)

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8200M GT

Network Card: Broadcom BCM440x 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet Controller

Network Card: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (Golan) Network Connextion

Current Operating system: Windows & Professional Media Center

 

i've tried booting with -v cpus=2 and still get a kernel panic

tried booting with -v -x but again doesn't work.

 

It seems to be that its not necesarily the version of OS X that i'm trying to install but the fact it can't boot up to the installation screen because of the kernel panic!

 

Its very frustrating!

Update: I've managed to boot to the installation process by adding

 

-v arch=i386

 

thanks to this guy:

now to try and install OS X!!! woohoo!
