joescarborough
I get 10.6.3 installed from an install disc just fine, but updating to 10.6.4, 10.6.5, or 10.6.6 causes boot errors. When I boot to verbose mode after any of these updates, I get jnl: disk1s2: flushing fs disk buffer returned 0x5 repeating over and over. If I reboot to the install disc, there are no errors reported by Disk Utility. Turning Journaling off does not help. Reinstalling 10.6.3 allows me to boot again (no erase of the drive is required). I would really like to update my system to get support my video card (which I have also had no luck with--1024x768 only). In case it helps you help me, I used ##### 3.2 to install Chameleon RC5 ATI Experimental most recently, but have tried various bootloaders with the same results.
