Hi there,

hopefully someone can help - i searched for the problem over here and google - no help found :-(

If got a wonderful working SL Installation (retail - no mods) for about 8 Months - from 10.6.3 to 10.6.6 - everything worked fine with this installation guide from here CLICK. No Problems with any update.

Last week i made an update - as i remember it was

- iTunes (latest)

- iMovie (latest)

- 1-2 things i don´t remember

That was the only "change" i made (change in case of updating system files or something else) and now i got no video signal on my external Samsung LCD (used as "expanded Monitor" not as "clone"). Before that (i think, because i watched a movie on my ext. LCD 2-3 days before) everything works perfectly.

I´ve also made a test - booting into win7 with chameleon - activate the "dual view" option - Video signal is right there - no problems. So i think it´s a problem with my SL :-(

The wired connection is from an NVIDIA 8800 GTS to an Onkyo TX-NR808 AV-Receiver (with analog connection/VGA) and then to the LCD (with HDMI - tested with and without upscaling).

And whats very confusing - my SL recordnized the external LCD. In the little view(monitor sign) next to date time are both listed - my Samsung SyncMaster (main monitor - still working fine) and my Onkyo TX-NR808 (dont work) with the resolutions i´ve set many months before.

Anyone a little idea?

P.S My AV-Receiver "says" in the information frame (unknown RGB Signal) - i dont think that this was before - but i cant remember (cause of never looking there before)

Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english :chef:
