TakumakiAss Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Hi there Expert and Pro, I have installed iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 Customization: Chameleon V1 Voodoo 9.5.0 SeatBelt RemoveFireWire AC 97 VIAATA Old ACPI (Downloaded, from Tiger) PC Spec: Pentium 4 (Northwood) 2 GHz Ram SDRam (768 MB) 133 MHz Maxtor HD (IDE [MASTER]) 80GB VT 8233/A/8235/8237/AC97Audio Controller nVidia Geforce 7300 GT I had face a problems which cause Kernel Panic while playing an Audio (eg: Play music in iTunes and Quick Time Movie.) The System Preference showed I have the Audio (VIA 97), but when play any audio matter it will show Kernel panic as above picture shown. I had change AppleAC97Audio.kext, changed and checked AppleAC97Audio.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAC97AudioVIA.kext, loaded the kext by " kextload -t AppleAC97AudioVIA.kext " from Terminal. Deleted all the necessary "Cache", "Extensions.mkext" and "Repair Permission". I have tried VoodooHDA, AppleHDA, HDAEnabler, AppleAzaliaAudio, all can't work... But at the end Kernel Panic still appear..... What should I do to make my Audio work without Kernel Panic? Thanks pal...
