mallorio123
I successfully installed iDeneb 1.6 to my crappy laptop (a Gateway MT3707). While it doesn't recognize the touchpad or laptop's keyboard, I can use a USB mouse and keyboard just fine. However, without even touching the keyboard, when I tried to install the VoodooPS2 kext, OS X starts typing the number "7" as if the key were held down. I unplugged the USB keyboard, and it was still typing it! So I was unable to do anything that required authenticating or even manually installing it in Terminal. Has anyone experienced this, or know of a particular solution? mallorio123
I resolved problem! Using only a USB mouse, I uninstall all kexts relating to PS2 controllers (including old ApplePS2 kext) More importantly, I uninstall ACPIPS2Nub.kext Reboot, rebuild cache (i just deleted Extensions.mkext, you can use -f flag too I guess) Next, FRESH install VoodooPS2Controller.kext. I used VoodooPS2Controller-0.98-installer.pkg which I copy to laptop from USB drive. Reboot, and touchpad and keyboard are working perfect! Hope this helps!
