iLearnFast
So, I have iatkos s3, and I only have on resolution option, 800x600. My goal is to have 1280x1024. I have searched the forums, and I have tried modifying the boot plist file and booting in graphics mode. I have tried SwitchResX and I couldn't figure out how to make it work right, but it did say monitor unknown. Is there any other way of changing the resolution? Acer Aspire One d150 netbook Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/245595-resolution/ Share on other sites

Dellmantt
I have had to reinstall iatkos s3 Isn't that Snow Leopard- If so the kexts from that link won't work as the are for Leopard (EDIT- From the post you deleted)And according to this post GMA950 (0x27ae) works with vanilla kexts as it does with my GMA 950 (0x2772) http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=246039 For extra resolutions use a DSDT http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=223205 The patches you need are "GMA950 laptop" & "DTGP" Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/245595-resolution/#findComment-1632911 Share on other sites
