M34nM4chin3
Hi all, Been a active reader on insanelymac for a while already and had a fully working leopard installation before. A few weeks ago my GTX295 nvidia card from XFX got delivered and I wanted to give Snow Leopard a try. It seems that the GTX295 needs alot more modifications then only installing/replacing some kexts and I don't want to do this every time there comes a new update of osx. All my other hardware is 100% supported with DSDT patching / kext replacement only my GTX295 will not work in 10.6.6 so my question is will the GTX 470 work without alot of modifications? Because then I'll buy the GTX470 and sell my GTX295. Thanks all! - Khoneini Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/245298-gtx-470-support/ Share on other sites
M34nM4chin3
I decided to buy this card: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-p...spx?pid=3569#ov I've read that these drivers are compatible with several 4xx and 5xx cards: http://www.kexts.com/view/638-nividia_driv...ed_by_tony.html I bought this card because it is factory overclocked to 700MHz but has still the same chipset onboard: GTX470 So if I'm right, these are also compatible with the card I've bought right?
