Rammjet
The first step of the installation is to go to the Utilities menu and select Disk Utility. Select your partition on the left, make sure it is set to MacOS Extended Journaled on the right and then click the Erase button to format the partition. Now you will be able to select the partition for the install. Later, when getting ready to click the Install button, first click the Customize button. Select packages for your computer by clicking on the arrows to reveal the individual packages. Be sure to select only AMD or Intel packages, not both. Be sure to select SSE2 or SSE3, not both, depending upon the capbability of your processor. I don't know what iso you are using, so I don't know what packages you have available. But if your package options look like the picture (link), then choose: 10.4.6 Combo AMD Base AMD SSE3 10.4.6 SemjaZa and if you have wireless, scroll down and include the wireless option.
