yangg Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Hi i have a problem with virtualbox and intel HD Audio window direct sound. i have a kernel panic say that error failed to open PCI device so i change sound chipset in virtualbox for ICH AC97 and it boot right so i try installing the .kext of voodooHDA but still kernel panic when i go back on Intel HDA. with ICH ac97 i install a .kext for he was working for 2 or 3 reboot after that no sound itune won't even play a song actually it start but stay at o:oo and no more device in control poanel -> sound if i can solve the kernel panic with intel HD audio in virtualbox i would be happy if he play some sound I'm on snow leopard with 10.6.6 succeful uptade thanks for your time to solve my problem yangg here ma config but im using virtualbox 4.0 for windows seven Asus P5k-vm LGA775 with integred sound C2D E6650 G.Skill 2*2Go ddr2 MSI nVidia 8600GT fanless Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/244110-virtualbox-40-iatkos-s3v2/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

yangg Posted January 20, 2011 Author Share Posted January 20, 2011 Great i fixe the kernel panic with a voodoohda-unistall et kextutility and i have sound but i still have a crash when i press apple logo and the first option in french is a propos de ce mac and i think it about mac in english any idea ??
