jofersine Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Ok, after literally trying about 20 different Hackintosh versions on about the same amount of hardware combinations I've actually got this combination to work - Gigabyte GA-D525TUD with Atom Dual-Core running XxX OS X 10.5.6 However, I'm using Kext helper but for the life of me I can't get networking or audion to work on this board. I've been hunting for months for a mac to setup as "project" but they were always out of my reach. so I had a "spare" PC left over that a customer rejected before Xmas .... I thought I'd make that my "mac project". I'm sooooooooooooooo close I don't really care if sound doesn't work but I neeeeeeeeeeeed the network to run The Chips are: Realtek ALC888B (audio) Realtek RTL8111E (LAN) I've tried 12 different Kext for each The machine does "hang" at the "updating cache" screen on reboot so I just end up hitting reset.
