I am starting to believe that this is just never going to work. I am fairly experienced with osx86 having installed it on my compaq presario v5000 with 100% success and also building a custom pc specific for osx but now im beginning to doubt myself. A friend gave me her dell inspiron e1505 and i have been trying to install osx for about a week now. I have tried every single distro and every single kext file i can find but no matter what i do, i cannot get the sound to work correctly. Voodoohda gives me sound but it is distorted to the point that it is completely unacceptable. Ive read countless threads on this forum and on others and i have tried everything with no luck. If anyone can please help me i would really appreciate it

UPDATE: I finally figured it out. Sorry for wasting peoples time and forum space. If an admin can remove this thread that would be great. Thanks again
