Sjoerd van Hoof Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I have got a problem when I update from 10.6.4 to 10.6.5. I have tried several combo-updates to 10.6.5 and to 10.6.5 (from my retail DVD wtih 10.6.3) and they don't work (why see below). I did manage to update to 10.6.4, so the problem is the 10.6.5 update. The error which my PC says is: 'still waiting for root device'. I have got my BIOS settings to AHCI. There is something wrong with my chipset kext but I don't know how to fix it. Please help me....
