i am gladly here to report that i have a working installation of 10.6.6 on my acer extensa 5630z

i have one problem though, voodoohda causes a kernel panic so i dont have sound

what kext can i use to enable sound within the mac os?

under device manager it is displayed as high definition audio device

but i believe it may be intel, since everything is intel, processor and graphics

thank you
