Hey folks! Hope everyone is gearing up for a great new year!

I've got four Presario NP185AAR (AKA: Presario CQ5110F) units on which I need to install Mac OS X. I attempted an install and it times out waiting for the root device. I was hoping to get some advice as to 1) how to get past this error and 2) any other feedback on the hardware of this computer in terms of compatibility.

Verbose boot text with point of failure:

Motherboard Specification: M2N68-LA (Narra5) (MFGL Pegatron M2N68-LA; HP/Compaq name: Narra6-GL6)

It has the NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 controller chipset.

The video card has been upgraded to an Nvidia GT 240.

Any thoughts would be very appreciated. This is an urgent need and if I cannot make this fly then I have to hunt some other options.

Thanks!

Nothing can be "urgent" in this forum. This is not an hospital

Sorry, did not catch your note until today. Unfortunately I did not get an email alert that I was expecting upon response.
