It is running SL 10.6.3 with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]. It boots only with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], it will NOT get past Apple screen when booting from drive. Things NOT working: Audio input - ALC889 (unknown if none, a, or (lspci - 8086:3b56) Things working: How I got them to work... etc, to come, IF i get my answer. I have no experience with Mac OS X, therefore, I cannot edit/build my own DSDT. If someone could please help me out, that would be great. Again, audio input is my priority, I shall not leave/give up, until it works. Nomad_Grabitel Posted December 30, 2010 Share Posted December 30, 2010 You need to update your system to latest version and maybe you'll be able to use Vanilla Kernel. Just your processor is unsupported in 10.6.3 and therefore restarts when trying to boot into Mac OS c drive.
