Hi! I am new here, so I hope I posted this in the right way :)

I have this laptop, Asus N73JQ: http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=hIIhj3I8sKuBgA2o

I burned a dual layer DVD with Mac OS 10.6.3 Retail and a Darwin Snow Leopard (v. 2) boot loader CD. I tried to boot OSX with -v -x options and here is the problem:

Also, here is my BIOS and my settings:

What can I do in order to install this OS? It works in VMWare, but I don't have sound, GPU acceleration and so on, so it's not the best option.

Thank you!

Happy new year!

Noone has any ideea?

Thanks again!

I got mine to install with ##### 2.6, "-v -x PciRoot=1". I then installed ##### and tony's nvidia update. No sound yet or wireless, video is working perfectly after nvidia update.

I don't want to use VooDooHDA if I don't have to, ALC889 doesn't seem to work.

Thanks, it worked with ##### and Tony's tutorial, but there's still no sound.

My ASUS N73JQ has an ALC269 audio chipset. This is the only problem keeping me to use OSX "full-time"

Any ideas?

Thanks again!
