E8400 Core 2 Duo, Asus P5G41-M, Zotac GT220, 4 gigs of Ram Been working on this all day but could only get the most basic options installed. I tried every guide, suggestion, and file but each time I installed anything to do with video drivers I would end up with a black screen after it booted up. Something popped in my head after the 20th time reinstalling and I tried the VGA out on my video card and sure enough there it was. For some reason Natit only came up with 250 mb on my video card. I wanted to test the stuff from the install DVD so I reinstalled using the Graphics Enable and everything worked fine with VGA and my video card showing 1 gig. Has anyone had any luck with GT220's with DVI or is everyone else in the same boat? I even tried 10.6.5 with no luck on the DVI. edit: Forgot to mention I have 10.6.3 installed another edit: Installed a EVGA GTS 250 with dual DVI and it worked fine so it has to be something to do with the VGA/DVI on the other video card. I assume there is a setting that can be changed to make it select DVI over the VGA? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
