snmclassic
So I FINALLY managed to get my rampage extreme ii i7 920 up and running (new to the mac world). But now I can't seem to get my ad2000b.kext file to load for the sound. I am running 10.6.5 and chameleon rc5 and did the auto-patcher for my dsdt file. I am trying to use kext helper / kext utility to load it and it says successful but upon reboot still no input/output in my sound settings. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks guys!! On a side note I can't install the kext file for my HD5970 either but that's not as much as a problem as I am getting video now. verdant
anyone? :/ Is the AD2000B.kext a full kext or an Info.plist only, i.e. legacy kext? If the latter, have you modded your DSDT.aml file correctly.......?
