Jaam Posted December 15, 2010 Share Posted December 15, 2010 First of all... I'm running an AMD. I don't expect any miracles but ANY pointers will be greatly appreciated. I have 3 probs with my hackintosh at the moment: 1. it will not turn off. The computer is running fine but when select turn off or restart, the software will start to shut off until the screen turns black. At this point I have to hold down the power button(for 10 secs) so the tower powers off. I was just wondering if there was a fix to have it turn off automatically? I thought I read of a solution a while back before I actually installed but I can't seem to find it now. 2. update to 10.6.3 Installation runs fine until it needs to restart. Again, the software would shut off and then I would have to hold the power button until it powers off. After this I would have to manually turn on the comp but once it is back on the installation does not continue. I think it's probably related to the first issue. 3. Sound Sound was a B!&$% to get working until I found Voodoo. Major thanks to the peeps who put this together. That said, every time a track hits a loud and dirty bassline the sound gets static. I recently got a M-Audio FasTrack Pro. The drivers install smoothly and the computer recognizes it when I plug it in, but I get no sound once it's selected in sound preferences. Any ideas related to this? It's all for Logic and Pro Tools >.< Thank you for your time!
