d2nator Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 Just installed 10.6.0 with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], opened [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and ready to run the 10.6.4 update combo but .dmg file won't open. It gives the error, cannot mount, file not recognised. I re-downloaded it twice, then downloaded 10.6.5 combo update but it still gives the same error. I tried a torrent 10.6.4 update and that gives the same error. I tried to mount it using disk utility but it gives the same error. Tried "open with" etc but still the same error. Tried mount.app it gives the not recognised error. My Hackintosh is not online so 10.6.4 and 10.6.5 combo updates were downloaded on a Windows laptop, using IE then chrome not sure if that makes a difference. I got the Nvidia CUDA dmg to open and mount as normal, but many other dmg's won't open. Help!
