Jbbrack03
I'm thinking about trying to build my own Hackintosh Laptop inside of a Macbook case. I priced all of the components of the case (for 13") and it looks like it will cost about $300 for the case. I don't need the hardware inside to be super powerful (enough to run snow leopard smoothly). Can anyone give me some recommendations for this project? I need to find hardware that will fit inside of the Macbook case. I'm hoping to make this about a $700 project, so $400 for hardware. I would just need a motherboard/gpu/cpu and RAM to go with the case (which includes top, bottom, screen, trackpad, speakers, superdrive). I also need advice about adapting the superdrive/trackpad/speakers/keyboard/and screen to work with the motherboard that I use. Is this possible? If you know how to do it above my budget, I'd still be interested in the knowledge. Thanks!
